Vadim Kibardin

Vadim Kibardin is a well-known Russian industrial designer in the world. Born and raised in Omsk. In 1996 he graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Art in Yekaterinburg. In 2000 he founded the studio KIBARDINdesign. Since 2005, lives in Prague, where the studio began mass production of products under the brand name KIBARDIN. Now this brand is registered in 25 countries. Vadim Kibardin’s items are sold in supermarkets and museum stores in Japan, France, Canada, and the USA.

Winner of GOOD DESIGN and IDA Design Awards (USA), iF Award and Red Dot Award (Germany), A’DESIGN AWARD and Promosedia International Design Competition (Italy), Design and Design (France), Charman design competition (Japan). The items designed by Kibardin were exhibited in the curatorial project of Lee Edelkort at Milan Design Week (2015), are stored in the collections of the Moscow Museum of Design and Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art (Seoul). He designed 13 devices for Alexander Zeldovich’s science fiction film “The Target” (2010). Wallpaper magazine included Vadim Kibardin in the list of forty designers under 50 who will change the world.
